Behold the Mylo Touchstones
November 2022
Sustainable Elements in Harmony
Designed by our collaborator Vision Fore, the Mylo™ touchstones combine our mycelium-based leather alternative with lab-grown diamonds and recycled platinum. This stunning necklace and earring set are the latest of our ongoing collaborations to introduce Mylo across industries and represent a more sustainable future for the red carpet.
Debuted at the annual Humane Society gala and fundraiser, the necklace was worn by sustainability and social justice activist Aditi Mayer and earrings by youth animal rights activist Genesis Butler.

The Humane Society Gala
Mylo was proud to partner with Humane Society International on this years annual To The Rescue! Gala, which raised $2 million to support the organization's work, including animal rescue, fur-free, and material innovation campaigns.
Hosted at Cipriani's in New York City and emceed by award-winning talk show host, Andy Cohen, the event brought together over 500 changemakers and animal-free fashion supporters to celebrate the organizations recent achievements.
The Humane Society has been instrumental in advocating for a more ethical fashion industry through fur-free campaign work. The future of animal-free fashion was the topic of the evening, with a lively on stage discussion between PJ Smith, Director of Fashion Policy at the Humane Society of the United States, and Laura Brown, former editor of InStyle and always influential voice in fashion, who carried the Frayme Mylo by Stella McCartney.
